Tenderlore are Hayley McDonnell, Olly Lewis and Rob Kitney. The trio met as fellow singer/songwriters in Southampton. Inspired by each other’s music they began to collaborate on each other’s songs, eventually adopting the name ‘Tenderlore’ in 2014.

Tenderlore have gigged widely across the UK and Ireland, supporting acclaimed artists such as Martin Simpson and Olivia Chaney along the way, and have released two full-length studio albums. The second of these, entitled Tŷ Crwn, was released in November 2018, and sees Tenderlore expand to a five piece band.

While the three part harmony and folk-rooted songwriting of the original trio is still very much at the core of Tenderlore, the addition of bass and drums makes for an exciting live show, and an album which gives a distinct nod to the folk-rock pioneers of the late 1960s.
